Nathaniel Herreshoff was indeed a ‘wizard’. In a sense, all of us who have spent a lot of time in boats are ‘agents of the wizard’. The prominence and influence of the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company on yachting has been monumental. Though this page has a strong Herreshoff orientation, it is intended for exchanging data and experiences related to all matters pertaining to ‘yachting history’, no matter the builder, designer or locale. Your stories and questions about the boats and the people who are the elements of this history are welcome.
